Shipping & Policies
Read before purchasing. These policies exist to protect both parties.
Live Arrival Guarantee
- All live livestock is guaranteed to arrive alive when shipped via USPS Priority Mail or Priority Mail Express.
- In the event of a DOA (dead on arrival), photographic evidence must be submitted within 2 hours of the confirmed delivery time.
- We will issue a store credit or replacement at our discretion — not a cash refund.
- The guarantee is void if the buyer was unavailable to receive the package, chose a slower shipping method, or the package was delayed due to circumstances outside our control (weather holds, carrier error after acceptance).
Shipping Policy
- Livestock ships Monday through Wednesday only, to ensure packages do not sit over the weekend.
- Heat packs are included when temperatures at the destination are below 50°F. Cold packs are included above 85°F. These are included at no extra charge.
- All animals are bagged and boxed appropriately for their species and travel time.
- Buyer is responsible for providing an accurate shipping address. We are not responsible for packages delivered to a wrong address due to buyer error.
- Local pickup is available — contact us to arrange a time.
Payment & Orders
- Payment is required in full before any animal is held or shipped.
- We accept PayPal, Venmo, and Cash App. Personal checks are not accepted.
- A 48-hour hold may be placed on an animal upon payment of a non-refundable deposit equal to 25% of the purchase price.
- Cancellations after payment forfeit the deposit.
Returns & Refunds
- All sales are final on live animals. No returns are accepted once an animal has left our care.
- Dry goods (supplies, substrates, etc.) may be returned within 14 days in unused, original condition.
- Refunds on dry goods are issued minus original shipping costs.
Health Guarantee
- All animals are observed for a minimum of 7 days before listing and confirmed feeding prior to sale.
- We do not knowingly sell sick animals. If an animal displays illness symptoms within 48 hours of arrival, contact us immediately with documentation.
- We are not responsible for illness caused by improper water parameters, inadequate quarantine, or introduction to an infected system.
